Our History

When Custom Wholesale Floors (CWF) was founded in 1973 with a single location in Miami, Florida, we knew we’d always run a family-oriented business no matter our growth.  There’s just something special – and rare – about being a company that holds integrity and customer care at the highest level. We wanted to be that kind of company for our customers, so we set off to be the very best hardwood flooring distributor to the retail and contract flooring trades.

At CWF, our mission has always been to generate sufficient revenues so we can gain strategic leverage of suppliers and offer better products and services to our customers.  It’s a simple philosophy that delivers big results – for our team and yours. 

 

Our Reputation

Though we’ve grown throughout the years, we haven’t sacrificed our commitment to providing the absolute best services to our customers.  And our reputation for being “The Wood People” proves it.  That’s why, during our 35-year history, we’ve expanded from our original Miami distribution center to additional centers in Tampa, Orlando, and Atlanta with a central distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida.  We’re everywhere our customers need us to be!

Customers have come to rely on CWF for competitively priced hardwood flooring and related products that have the quality and value to cover any needs.  We even investigate potential manufacturers for quality, reliability, and price in that specific order just to bring you the best.  The outcome?  Products featuring more than 30 different wood species – some of which are handpicked from around the world. 

 

Our products include prefinished and unfinished wood flooring, inlays and borders, and various moldings that match our products.  And for customers installing, sanding, and finishing wood flooring, we carry a complete inventory of sundries and accessories, such as sound abatement, moisture protection, adhesives, fasteners, abrasives, finishes, machines, moldings, and cleaning products. 

 

Our Delivery

Having great products isn’t enough to be the top distributor, which is why we maintain a modern fleet of our own delivery vehicles that transport products on time and without damage to a four-state region.  And in most cases we can deliver within 48 hours – no matter the load.  So when we say you can rely on CWF for trustworthy delivery service, we mean it.
